Navigating Campus Closure and Online Classes
Welcome back to the AUIS news section, and while unfortunately our life on campus is on hold, and AUIS has announced that the campus will remain closed until early May, with all classes continuing online during this time, this may not be the semester everyone expected, but the university is committed to making sure students can continue their education safely and with as much support as possible.
As students, we are encouraged to stay connected by regularly checking our emails and online learning platforms for updates, class materials, and announcements. Instructors will continue holding lectures and sharing resources online, and they are there to help if you have questions or need guidance.
Although learning from home can sometimes feel challenging, and many of us may feel disconnected- no pun intended! and unmotivated, it’s important to stay engaged and keep up with your coursework. Attending online classes, participating when you can, and staying organized will make a big difference in keeping you on track. The university also wants to remind students to take care of themselves and each other. Even though everyone is physically apart, the sense of community is still very much alive. Reaching out to classmates, staying in touch with friends, and asking for support when needed can help make this period a little easier.
“We know this period carries real strain. Together with the Board of Trustees, we want to express our deep appreciation for your resilience, your care for one another, and your unwavering commitment to our students and to the continuity of education,” the president shared. Keep going, stay focused, and don’t hesitate to ask for help. Updates about returning to campus will be shared as soon as possible. Until then, stay positive, keep showing up for your classes, and remember, you’re not alone in this.
